26 September 2026. These terms apply to the Kern mobile app and public website.

Kern is a fitness and health coaching product. You are responsible for the information you provide and for keeping your account credentials secure.

You must be at least 18 years old to create and use a Kern account.

You may not misuse the product, interfere with the service, reverse engineer restricted parts of the product, or use Kern in a way that violates applicable law.

Kern provides informational coaching based on the data available to it. It is not medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.

Always use your own judgment and consult a qualified professional before making medical decisions, changing medication, or starting a training or nutrition plan that may affect your health.

Stop training and contact local emergency services when you experience potentially life-threatening symptoms. Do not rely on Kern for emergency assessment or response.

Features may change or be removed as Kern improves. We may limit, suspend, or end access when needed to protect users, maintain the service, comply with law, or improve the product.

Paid features may be offered through an Apple auto-renewable subscription. The purchase screen shows the included features, subscription period, localized price and any trial before you confirm. Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase, or when an offered free trial ends.

Subscriptions renew automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the current period ends. Apple charges your account for renewal within 24 hours before the end of that period. You can manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple Account settings. Any unused part of a free trial is forfeited when you purchase a subscription, where applicable.

You can restore eligible purchases in the app using the Apple Account that made the purchase. Refund requests are handled by Apple under its refund rules and your applicable consumer rights. Deleting Kern or your Kern account does not cancel a subscription or stop future Apple billing.

Kern is provided as available. To the extent permitted by applicable law, Kern is not responsible for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising from use of the product. These terms do not limit consumer rights or liability that cannot legally be excluded.
